The texture of the month

2025 is a 9 year. August 2025 is an 8 month (9 + 8 = 17 → 8). Eight is authority, harvest, material reach, the moment of claim.

An 8 month in a 9 year is the cycle's last serious payday. Whatever has been ripening over the past several years offers itself for harvest in August. The year that follows will be focused on release, not collection.

What this month is asking

Take it. Whatever has been on the table all year, the offer, the promotion, the contract, the closing conversation, accept it before the 9 year's gravity makes it harder to claim.

Three observations for August:

• If you have been underselling yourself, August catches it. Set the price the work is worth.
• If there is an agreement waiting to be signed, sign it. The 8 month's window is real but not long.
• Notice what is offered without being asked. Eight months bring unsolicited fruit, the email, the call, the conversation. Receive what arrives.

A 9 year permits one last harvest. August is when it arrives, and is gone almost as quickly.

September will return you to release. October will whisper the next cycle. August is the cycle's last act of claiming. Show up for it.
