A 6 month inside an 8 year is the cycle's domestic month. The harvest year often pulls you outward, toward visibility, achievement, status. July pulls you back: to the dinner table, the family member who needs attention, the home that has been neglected for the office.

What this month is asking

Choose people over progress. The harvest year will continue to reward your effort in August and September. July rewards your presence in the spaces the rest of the year asks you to leave.

Three observations for July:

• The family member you have been short with wants a different kind of conversation this month. Offer it.
• Care for the home. Not in a grand way. The small repairs that have been waiting.
• Resent less. A 6 month surfaces the resentment of over-giving without being received. Recalibrate before it hardens.

What good is the harvest if the home is empty?
