A 7 month in the heart of a 9 year is one of the cycle's quietest and most important moments. The year has been releasing all the way through; July asks you to sit with what is leaving and listen for what it has been teaching you.
What this month is asking
Stop trying to be productive. The 7 month does not reward output, it rewards understanding. The mid-summer pause is appropriate; honour it.
Three quiet practices for July:
- Read deeply. One book that has been waiting for you, finally read it this month.
- Journal. The year has been changing you. Document the change while it is happening, not after.
- Refuse meetings. A 7 month is for solitude. Whatever can wait until August, let it.
What you find at this depth is the foundation for everything that comes next.
August brings authority and harvest. September brings the final letting-go. July is the month between, where the year's lesson becomes legible if you slow long enough to read it.
