The texture of the month

2023 is a 7 year, the seeker. October 2023 is an 8 month (7 + 10 = 17 → 8). Eight is authority, harvest, the moment of claim.

An 8 month in a 7 year is rare and slightly disorienting. The year has been quiet; the month is sudden and material. Something the seeker year was building privately is, for one month, ready to be claimed publicly.

What this month is asking

Take the offer. The 7 year does not usually hand out tangible rewards, but October briefly opens the door. Whatever has been quietly developing, October will give you a chance to formalise it, accept it, sign it.

Three observations for October:

• The opportunity that arrives in October will look like a surprise but it has been building all year.
• Do not undersell. A 7 year tends to make you modest. An 8 month wants you accurate. The truth is somewhere brighter than your default.
• Then return to the deep. October is a brief surfacing, not a permanent emergence.
